Mrs. Cassandra Davis Oldham Campbell, 100, died today at a nursing home at 2905 Campbell. She was descended from pioneer families that settled in Missouri in the 1830s.
Her parents were married in a log cabin which still stands near Hickman Mills. Her father was in the milling business there. The family moved to Kansas later, where Mrs. Campbell was born.

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Flemmon Oldham, were Southern sympathizers; the Davis in her name honored President Jefferson Davis of the Confederacy.

When the Civil war ended the family returned to Missouri and a farm near Belton. Mrs. Campbell attended school near there with a group of Dalton brothers, some of whom later became notorious as the Dalton gang.

Mrs. Campbell leaves a daughter, and a son and one grandchild
