      (LDS film number 183,287)

Richard Oldham (known generally as Richard Ready-Money Oldham) was married 2nd) to Nancy Newman's daughter, Patsy Reid, in January 1803, Madison Co. Goodman Oldham, Richard's son by his first wife Ursley Duke Williams formerly the widow Peoples, was married 1st to Fanny Reid, probably the sister of Patsy. The fact that Goodman Oldham was a party to this agreement would tend to confirm the assumuption that the two Newman women were sisters.
