  Notes	Fannie Henriette Lindsay Oldham was the daughter of Frederick and Fanny Lindsay Oldham. She was married, 26 Aug. 1876 to Robert N. Slack the son of William and Hannah Eliza Carr Slack of Leeds, England. They were married in Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church during a double wedding with Mr. Slack's sister Mary who married Heber J. Oldham, brother of Mrs. Slack. Robert and Fannie Slack became the parents of nine children: 1. Robert W. F. who died in infancy, 2. Fannie E., who married Dr. E. J. Smith, 3. James G. who died in infancy, 4. Harry Lindsay who married Martha Smith, 5. Dr. Edwin H. Slack who married Carrie Hanson, 6. Albert who married Fredericka Sturzel, 7. Florence M., 8. Arthur T. who died in 1895 at the age of 22 months and 9. Forman Randolph who became a teacher in Tarrytown. During their 50th wedding anniversary in 1926, fifty-three family members sat down to dinner in their home at #126 Elizabeth St., Staten Island, and were entertained by their sons who were known as the Slack Brothers Quartette.
